Lauren London Not Pregnant

Is Lauren London pregnant? Despite what you may have heard, the actress and model was not pregnant in October 2009.

Lauren London (born: December 5, 1984) had her first child, Lennox Samuel Ari, in September 2009. The son's father was rapper Lil Wayne. Lil Wayne announced just weeks after the birth that he is expecting another child, this time with R&B singer Nivea.

In an interview with the BBC's Tim Westwood, Lil' Wayne confirmed that he and Nivea are expecting a son but gave no further details.

This will be Lil' Wayne's fourth child. He is father to 10-year-old daughter Reginae with his ex-wife Antonia Carter, 1-year-old son Dwayne Carter III with an undisclosed woman and, of course, a brand-new baby boy with Lauren London.

A Teen Vogue cover model is pregnant.

The November issue of Teen Vogue has two models on the cover, Jourdan Dunn and Chanel Iman. Both are 19, and both are black. The article inside is mostly about the success the two young women have achieved and how it is still difficult for black models to get work in the world of fashion.

Our interest is in another aspect of Dunn's life, however -- the fact that she's pregnant.

In July of this year, Jourdan Dunn announced that she would give birth in December of 2009. Well, she sort of announced it. The way we learned about Dunn's bun in the oven was through the following headline on Vogue.com: "Expecting In Style: What The Pregnant Jourdan Should Wear This Fall."

Michelle Duggar Chats About Morning Sickness And Her In-House Organizer

Some say that Michelle Duggar is crazy. After all, being pregnant with her 19th baby, who's due in March 2010, isn't typical. But the 42-year-old, who herself is the youngest of seven siblings, seems to have everything under control. On her reality-TV show, 18 Kids And Counting on TLC, she exemplifies a remarkably stress-free mom, never letting anything get under her skin.

She talked to ParentDish by phone from her Arkansas home -- secreted away in her upstairs office -- about what life is like as a pregnant mom in a house of 20 and counting.

ParentDish:
Congratulations! There must be a lot of excitement in the house right now.
Michelle Duggar: The children are doing their lessons now. Math, English, spelling, music.

PD: Who's running things while we're on the phone?
MD: My 16-year-old Jessa is the school coordinator. I think she's harder on them than I am. With her they have to get at least a B-plus or else they do it again. I'm more lenient; a low B or a C would not be horrible. Some come crying, "I have to repeat another lesson."

PD: How are you feeling?
MD: We are thrilled. I feel sick and tired a lot right now.

PD: How do you handle the morning sickness?
MD:
I keep almonds around and protein and pretzels. It keeps it bearable. I don't throw up all the time. I just feel sick on and off all day long. I have a friend who's a doula and she told me to keep protein snacks handy, like beef jerky, cooked chicken in the fridge. It helps. Salty pretzels kind of help, so I keep pretzel sticks around. We all love pretzels, so I keep tons around. It's a favorite snack.

PD:
How does it feel to know that your child will be younger than your grandchild?
MD: I am just amazed. Being 42, I was wondering if could still have another. That season of change is happening a bit, so I figured I would just enjoy hugging and loving on my grandbabies.

PD: Now that you're both pregnant at the same time, is the relationship with your daughter-in-law any different?
MD: Anna asked me some pregnancy questions early on and that was just a joy. Now she's asking me, "How are you feeling?" She was really sick every other day, so she can sympathize with me.

PD: How will this play out in the Duggar family?
MD: My mother and my sister got to experience the same phenomena. My mother was pregnant with me when my sister was pregnant with my nephew. I have a nephew and niece who are older than me, so I was an aunt before I was born! When I was younger I would point my finger and say to them, "Remember, I'm your aunt."

PD: Are you doing anything different for Baby No. 19?
MD: At this point I'm just trying not to feel sick. (Laughs.)

PD: Have you picked out the name yet?
MD: Not yet. Jessa gave me a list of name possibilities. She's my organizer. She said, "We gotta start thinking about this."

PD:
So? What are your thoughts?
MD: Jim Bob (her husband) says we're open to suggestions on J-names. People can go on our Web site, duggarfamily.com and e-mail us at JimBob@afo.net with name suggestions.

PD: Any more kids after this one?
MD: We would love more. We're just so thrilled that God blessed us with another one. So, if he gives us more, we will gladly receive the gift.

PD: As an uber-fertile woman, do you have any advice for women trying to conceive?
MD: God is the one who's the giver of life and opens and closes the womb. I would cry out to him initially and ask him if he would be willing. We only think we have control but in reality he is the giver of life.

Just a short eight months after the birth of Jordyn-Grace, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar recently announced that they are expecting their 19th child.

Surrounded by their 18 children, including their eldest Josh and his pregnant wife, Anna, the famously fertile couple told the "Today" show's Meredith Vieira that they are thrilled to add yet another child to their brood.

"We are thrilled to announce that we found out we're expecting our 19th child," Michelle Duggar said.

As well as expecting their own baby, the Duggars are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their very first grandchild, a girl, this fall. Josh and Anna Duggar added to the excitement when they revealed that their baby's name would begin with an "M."

It seems that 18 is a lucky number for the Duggars -- following on the birth of 18th child Jordyn-Grace, the couple is expecting this newest arrival on March 18. Jim Bob celebrates his birthday on July 18, and their grandchild is due to make her debut on Oct. 18.

Of her pregnancy, veteran mom Michelle, 42, says that she's feeling the typical first-trimester nausea, but is generally doing well.

"I'm feeling sick and tired, which is a good way to be feeling about right now," she told Vieria. "I always tell myself that's a good way to be, because that means good things are happening."

The pregnancy took Michelle by surprise a bit: The average gap between the Duggar children is 18 months. Just eight months after Jordyn's birth, Michelle noticed that she was putting on weight and that the baby fussed when she nursed. Those two signs alerted her that she might be expecting yet again.

Michelle has been pregnant for 147 months of her life, and she still has five more to go. For those playing along at home, that's more than 12 years of pregnancy.

Joshua Duggar to be a Daddy!

Joshua Duggar, the oldest of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar's 18 children, told the Today show this morning that he and wife Anna are expecting! "I am three months right now and feeling great," a glowing Anna told Meredith Vieira. "Morning sickness is pretty much all gone. I'm looking forward to having my baby."

The newest Duggar is due October 12.

Anna Duggar told Viera that she had taken several pregnancy tests in the months following her September 2008 wedding, but all were negative. She took the most recent test at the used car dealership that she and Joshua own and operate, but left the stick in the bathroom without checking it. Instead, she sent Josh back in to look.

Josh's reaction? "Wow! I'm going to be a father!"

The new baby will most certainly be warmly welcomed into this super-sized extended family, and he -- or she! -- will have lots of other little ones to grow with. Grandparents-to-be Jim Bob and Michelle, after all, are also parents to 4-month-old Jordyn-Grace, who made an appearance on the Today show as well. "We are so thrilled and so excited for Josh and Anna," said Michelle, snuggling her baby.

What will the newlyweds name the baby? No word yet, but it won't start with J. Instead, they're thinking of going with M names, to honor Michelle. And how many babies will there be in this Duggar house? Joshua says, "We're leaving that up to God."

MIA at Grammys - Makes the Most of Her Baby Bump

MIALast night, British rapper MIA marked her baby's due date by performing at the Grammy Awards.

Did the controversial 31-year-old singer sport traditional maternity wear? Nope -- she rocked the stage in a daring sheer number with strategic polka dots that exposed most of her baby bump.

MIA performed with TI, Jay-Z and Lil Wayne on the album "Swagga Like Us," which samples her hit "Paper Planes;" the album won a Grammy for Best Rap Performance by a duo or group.

Despite her bold fashion move, in previous interviews MIA admitted she was worried her performance might induce labor.

"When I read these books on childbirth, they are like, 'If you want to induce labor, try having a game of arm wrestle with your friend,'" said MIA.

"I am like, 'Oh my God, my option isn't an arm wrestle -- it's like being onstage and with Jay-Z and Lil Wayne and Kanye and TI.' To me, that is really exciting, to be a nine-month pregnant woman," she added.

MIA has been getting loads of attention lately -- in addition to her Grammy nod, she was nominated for an Oscar for her song "O Saya" from the film Slumdog Millionaire, which she co-wrote with AR Rahman.

"It was literally like day by day, you know somebody is like 'You have been nominated for a Brit Award,' and then it was like 'You are nominated for an Oscar' and it was like...I was just really confused by it all," said MIA.

Despite her impending due date, the rappin' mom-to-be is working on a new album as well as producing a new artist, Rye Rye.

MIA says she doesn't know the sex of her child but calls it "he" anyway -- and she says her baby already loves her music.

"Every time I go for an ultra scan, the baby is like in crazy positions with legs star-shaped and stuff. It's not like in a baby position at all," she said. "I feel like he is used to bass lines and beats and receptive to that, which is cute."

Talk about a hard-working mom! Would you dare perform on your due date? In that dress?

Angie Everhart Looking to Profit From Pregnancy

Angie EverhardtRemember Angie Everhart? The smoking hot supermodel turned actress turned Sly Stallone arm candy? Well, she's back and she would very much like to have your attention.

Word on the street (and by street, I mean Perez Hilton) is that the 39-year-old redhead is pregnant with her first child and the father is not Joe Pesci. That Everhart even has to deny Pesci's paternity may sound odd, but she and the funnyman were actually a couple for several years before breaking up this past April.

So, who is the dad? Everhart isn't saying, but something tells me that her secrecy is a calculated move designed to boost interest in a reality show she's shopping. The show is called Angie Baby and it will follow her through her pregnancy as a single woman going it alone. I predict a very special episode in which the father of the child is revealed.

Angie says her desire to turn her pregnancy into a reality show isn't about money or attention. It's about showing the world how great it is to be pregnant and single. "I decided to do a show about me being a single, strong, healthy and good-spirited woman who is having a baby on her own. I want to show the positive aspects of women who do it on their own," she said.

Of course, single women get pregnant and have babies all the time and it isn't the end of the world. In fact, some women may genuinely prefer it that way. But there are ups and downs and good days and bad days and in the end, you work it out the best you can. Single motherhood is not a walk in the park and a reality show that depicts only the positive aspects of going it alone isn't exactly depicting reality.

Do you think celebrities who flaunt their unwed pregnancies do a disservice to young women by glamorizing single motherhood? Or are dads truly optional these days?

Elisabeth Hasselbeck Expecting!

Elisabeth HasselbeckElisabeth Hasselbeck is pregnant -- again! The co-host of television's The View and mother of two is expecting with husband Tim Hasselbeck, former Arizona Cardinal football player.

Hasselbeck made the reveal on The View: "I didn't even know for two months. I was walking around. I thought I had, I kept saying, 'Electionitis, electionitis.'" The Hasselbecks were "thoroughly happy with the surprise of it."

"I was tired, I was nauseous, I thought I was worn out from the whole procedure. No! I was knocked up and didn't realize it."

The new tot, whose sex is unknown, will join siblings Grace Elisabeth, three, and Taylor Thomas, 15 months. Once the new babe joins the clan, Hasselbeck will have three children under the age of five! How she'll handle that and being a working mom I'll never know.

Feisty Hasselbeck is known for her strong Republican views, and many a viewer tunes in to see her spar with her talk show co-hosts. I wonder if any of those pregnancy hormones will affect her views or her feistiness! Former co-host Rosie O'Donnell left the show after a very heated argument with a very pregnant Hasselbeck in 2007.

Elisabeth is due in August. Congratulations!

"I know I will get bigger, and I know I will have a lot of baby weight," she told ParentDish. "I know it won't be this huge, insurmountable thing. If I had gotten pregnant six months after the show, I would have been in the head space of worrying about my weight, and being really focused on that."

Wolff says she now puts her attention on how her body feels, and not on the number on the scale. Before she got pregnant, this 5-foot, 10-inch blond beauty weighed in around 154 pounds. But get this: When asked how much weight she's gained during the 15 weeks of her pregnancy, she didn't know.

"I know I've already gained more that I thought I would, but I'm less focused on the scale than on how I feel," the mom-to-be says. Weight gain, from a pregnancy or otherwise, is not "insurmountable." That is the single most important lesson she learned from the show (The Biggest Loser: Couples is now on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on NBC).

The Duggars in Times Square in May 2008. Ain't it a miracle how the family gets through the streets of New York City without losing anyone. The reactions from people who encountered the Duggars on the street? As shown on their TLC series, most say the same thing: "17 kids? Wow."

All the kids, 17 shown here in 2008, play piano and violin and the girls play harp. According to the Duggar's site, "At 9:00AM, the older children help their buddies with their studies in phonics, math, violin & piano (J-O-Y- Jesus first, Others second, & Yourself last!). Then the older children start their music & individual studies - math, English, spelling & typing."

For Joshua Duggar, though, the change to married life is precisely the opposite. Instead of sharing his space with 17 siblings, Joshua is making a life with his new wife, Anna (who is from a family of eight children). But as much as the couple are enjoying their time together, they are already planning for a big family. Of course.

Joshua told People magazine that "I would welcome a big family. My parents have been wonderful examples." And Anna is on board, too. "I would love to have as many children as God would bless us with. Growing up in a large family, and Joshua in a mega-family, you learn so much more. I think a large family helps you prepare for life."

Life outside the realm of normal for most of us. But in true Duggar fashion, even the littlest addition to the family, Jordyn-Grace, born on December 18, 2008, is thriving amidst a crowd of brothers and sisters. "The nursing experience is going great," Michelle told ParentDish in an exclusive interview. "She's growing all the time and looks just like a Duggar."

The only challenge seems to be keeping "big" sister Jennifer, now one-and-a-half, at bay. "She's always coming up and saying, 'kiss, kiss, baby, baby,'" said Michelle. "It's all we can do to keep her from leaving puddles on the baby's cheek, let alone sit on or poke her." Jordyn's buddy is 16-year-old Jessa, who wants to be a fashioner designer. "She'd be happy to change the baby's outfits three times a day."

And why not? Jinger, 15, is the one responsible for all the laundry.

You watch Joshua and Anna's engagement and wedding on January 25 on TLC. The series is back on Tuesdays, beginning January 27.

Charlotte Church Using Old Wives Tales to Induce Labor

Charlotte Church

Remember Charlotte Church? I don't really, either, but I think she has one of those fabulous voices and is a large sensation in the UK. Well, Charlotte is ready to give birth to her second child and can't seem to get that baby here fast enough. The songstress is allegedly trying any and all means (safe ones, of course) to coax her baby into the world. According to reports, Charlotte was spotted eating curry in an attempt to jumpstart labor. Curry and other spicy foods are an old wives tale trick to get things rolling. As someone who ate Thai food throughout both my pregnancies I can assure you that the chances are slim to none that spicy food will bring on labor. And I'm talking green curry Thai, not peanuts and noodles!

Still, these notions that certain things can jumpstart labor persist even into the modern day. I remember sitting with my OB going over the possibilities, and we both had a good laugh over some of the things recommended in the past for getting that baby train rolling. Having sex is a good one, as is eating castor oil -- gross! No, really, it's GROSS -- and the aforementioned spicy food. Another one is light exercise like going for a walk.

Dont Say This to a Pregnant Woman!

Pregnancy is an exciting time, so it's only natural that you want to join in the fun and chat with mom-to-be about her impending bundle of joy. Just watch your mouth, or you could sound like a jerk!

    Getty Images

    "Was it planned?"
It sure doesn't matter now, does it?

    Getty Images

    "How are you feeling?"
Pregnant women get asked this about 10,000 times a day. They are fine.

    Getty Images

    "Whoa, you're still pregnant?"
Trust us, she's well aware that the baby is still in there.

    Getty Images

"Will you have any more after this one?"
This is not the moment to discuss future children -- one at a time, people.

    Getty Images

"I think a better name would be..."
Nobody cares. We'll ask what you think when you're the one carrying a baby around for 9 months.

    Getty Images

"I can see it [the pregnancy] in your face."
What you mean is "you have that pregnant glow," but what you're saying is "your face got fat."

    Getty Images

"I know a woman who worked/exercised/etc until she went into labor"
And now we feel like crap because we're not doing those things. Thanks a lot.

    Getty Images

    "You've hardly gained any weight!"
Your heart is in the right place, but comments like this make women worry that there's something wrong with the pregnancy.

    Getty Images

"Are you having twins [or triplets]?"
Basically you're saying she looks enormous so there must be another baby in there.

    Getty Images

I think the only thing that will actually get labor started outside of nature is pitocin, and you can only get that in the hospital with your doctor's approval, generally when you're two weeks late. This may vary from place to place, but it's safe to say they aren't handing pitocin out over the counter. I have heard that sex speeds things along, but, really, when you're nine months pregnant the last thing you might consider is getting frisky!

Any wives tales that brought on labor you know of? Please share -- and send word to Charlotte Church!

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck Welcome Baby Girl!

Well, the moment we've all been waiting for, sorta, is finally here. The lovely and adorable Jennifer Garner has given birth! The Alias star and husband Ben Affleck welcomed a second daughter into the world this past Tuesday.

According to reports, mom and daughter are both doing great. The newbie, whose name and details are still unavailable, joins three-year-old sister Violet, who may just be the cutest child in the whole world -- you know, except for my kids. One thing is for sure, though -- Affleck has vowed to not give the new baby a crazy name.

Even though both Garner and Affleck's careers are in full swing they manage to be very hands on parents to Violet -- we see pictures of mommy and little Vi out and about all the time, looking, frankly, really happy. I wonder if the addition of a new little gal will shake up the work schedule at all. No word on whether Jen plans on taking any additional time off to be with the new baby -- Ben either!

Congrats, guys -- we can't wait to see the pictures. I'm sure the new baby girl is just as beautiful as Violet and her mommy!

Tim Allen to Be a Daddy Again

Tim AllenTim Allen, of Home Improvement and the Santa Clause movie franchise, is set to be a daddy again. Tim, who is now 55 years old, and wife Jane Hajduk are expecting their first child together sometime this spring. The couple have been married since 2006.

Tim is also the daddy of nineteen year old Katherine, with ex-wife Laura Deibel, if you can imagine, but is very excited about the newest addition to his family. As far as Jamie Lynn Spears and Bristol Palin are concerned, that makes Katherine old enough to be the new baby's mommy! But, I digress.

Congratulations to the happy couple! I wish them nothing but the best. I wish, too, that Tim hadn't provided the voice for a certain toy my son loves to play with that says "Buzz Lightyear to the rescue!" over and over and over...and over.

Rebecca Romijn Has Her Twins!

Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell

Former supermodel turned actor turned sexy mutant Rebecca Romijn has finally become a mommy! The Ugly Betty star, who at one point claimed she was ready to have the babies as she felt as big as a beached whale, gave birth to twin girls on December 28. In fact, Rebecca was so uncomfortable she had to skip pal Howard Stern's recent wedding and took to her bed long enough to make a hilarious video for Funny or Die.

Fraternal twin girls Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip are named in honor of Dolly Parton and husband Jerry O'Connell's brother Charlie. Somehow I knew they were girls, but that seems to not be such obvious information. It is beleived that O'Connell made a recent crack about naming the girls Mary-Kate and Ashley. That would be hilarious! I heard just now that the names are Charlie and Dolly (after Ms. Dolly Parton) but am not sure that is true.

Romijn tried in vain to become pregnant for a long time, ultimately opting to use Clomid, which I guess is a fertility drug, although she claims she stopped taking it several months before becoming pregnant with the twinsies. Hence, she and Jerry are claiming the duo were conceived of naturally. Hard to tell whether or not that's exactly true. Wouldn't it take a while to get something out of your system that affects your hormones? Whatever. I'm sure they felt the need to go on about that since practically every other celebrity out there has twins these days, via whatever means necessary.

Truthfully, all I really have to say on the subject is that Jerry O'Connell is the luckiest man alive. Seriously.
